Turn right at the top of Glastonbury High St. The barn is visible from the roundabout.

This is one of the original tithe barns for Glastonbury Abbey. Built in the fourteenth century, this was the finest of a series of such barns located throughout the jurisdiction of the abbey. Other examples still stand at West Pennard, Pilton and Doulting. Today, the Glastonbury barn has been renovated and converted for use as the Somerset Rural Life Museum - entrance to which is now free.
