Wells Cathedral and Environs: 3 sites
Wells is the smallest city in England and home to one of Britain's finest cathedrals. Attached to the cathedral is an ecclesiastical palace and an extensive precinct of associated mediaeval buildings. The city is named after the springs that rise up behind the cathedral, feeding the waterways of the palace gardens and the moat that surrounds the palace.
